Right Time To Innovate
GURU has deep expertise in lean startup techniques providing comprehensive support for the methodology across a range of programs. This includes developing short programs which focus on an introduction to customer development. These programs focus on application of the scientific method for the identification of market need, i.e. problem-solution fit and feature a mixture of lecture content, workshop development and office hours.
Customer Development
This model has been used in many I-Corps “Lite” programs that GURU has supported for NSF I-Corps Hubs and Sites, DOE programs like Innovation Crossroads, ORNL’s TIP Program, and Energy I-Corps for SBIR/STTR, and internationally in support of the US Dept of State. Training and program development extends to the full I-Corps program which guides participants through their entire business model. Much like the “Lite” program, the full program offers a mixture of lecture content, guided workshops/worksheets, and office hours. In addition to covering topics like problem solution fit, sessions also include go-to-market strategies, partnership development, operational milestones, and key activities/resources.
