Workshop & Training
GURU can also provide turnkey workshops on topics such as customer discovery, go-to-market strategies, partnership development, etc.

Program Development
GURU has deep expertise in lean startup techniques providing comprehensive support for the methodology across a range of programs. This includes developing short programs which focus on an introduction to customer development. These programs focus on application of the scientific method for the identification of market need, i.e. problem-solution fit and feature a mixture of lecture content, workshop development and office hours.

Innovation Mentoring and Coaching
GURU can also provide coaching and mentoring, without program development, expanding teams approaches to venture development, MVP development and testing, etc. through 1-on-1 sessions.

Inclusion and Equity Design
GURU has worked to increase recruitment and outreach efforts for STEM innovation initiatives, most notably for the NSF I-Corps program. GURU helped to develop an inclusion strategy working with GEM, an organization that provides scholarships to Black/Brown engineering graduate students, as it developed its Inclusion in Innovation Initiative (i4). Similarly, GURU has worked on recruitment and outreach for other efforts including programs for Black Tech Ventures, and VentureWell.

Customer Discovery
GURU can develop and conduct a customer discovery effort so that you can uncover the pains/gains and motivations of your key stakeholders. While it is an activity largely associated with start-ups, it is integral that established companies stay engaged with key stakeholders to inform product and program development.

Programmatic Advisor
GURU has provided advisory support on inclusion and equity to organizations. GURU worked as a strategic advisor on the GEM i4 program and also completed advisory work for the Small Business Administration (SBA) for its Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) program.
